startedinmy newprofession. AlthoughIamnew to thisindustry here isan outline of myexperience toshow

Firstof all,Iam nota “cop wanna-be”withsomethingtoprove, ora rogue cowboy toughguy as many that try
to getstarted in thisfieldare. Ihave yearsof experience inmanyrelatedfields. Ihave a Bachelorof Science in
Criminal Justice withaMinorinForensicInvestigationfromMetropolitan State Universityof Denver. Ispent7
yearsin the U.S. Army,including13monthsinBaiji,Iraq;I was the 1st
InfantryDivisionSoldierof the Yearin
2003, an achievementthatIam tremendouslyproudof. Ialsoservednearly5yearsinthe AirForce National
Guard where I was a force protectionsupervisor;bothdischargesare honorable. Iwas a Sergeantwiththe
ColoradoDepartmentof Correctionsfor2 yearsat FremontCorrectional Facility,whichis amediumsecurity
prison,housinginmatesclassifiedfromlevel 1-5includingadministrativesegregation. Currently,Iamthe
securitysupervisorforCorrectional ManagementIncorporated’sDahliaFacility. ThisisDenver’slargesthalfway
house,housing120 adultmale felons.
Throughall of my experience Ihave gainedawealthof knowledgeandskills;more importantlyIhave developed
these skillsinreal lifesituations underpressure. Youare an establishedprofessional,andthroughyour
experience,youcansee Ihave most,if not all,the skillsrequiredtobe anexcellentagent.
In additiontomyexperience,Iama committed, responsible professionalwhoisdeterminedtosucceedinall
that I do. I don’trun intoanythingunpreparedandIunderstandthattobe successful inanythingittakes time,
commitmentanddedication.Iam inthisto the successful end.
