1cm seam allowance
1. Lockstitch shoulders x 2
2. Over the shoulders together x2
3. Open armhole on body and insert sleeve head
4. lockstitch and then overlock together
5. Lockstitch on side seam and underarm of sleeve,
6. Overlock underarm and side seam
7. Stitch CB of collar, 1cm short end of collar
8. Press seam open
9. Fold collar length wise and press
10. Fold collar in half and notch center front
11. On neckline of main garment fold center front neckline and snip a notch, fold center back neckline and snip a notch
12. Match neckline notches to collar notch and center back seam
13. Lockstitch collar to garment neckline, stretching collar to meet garment neckline
14. Overlock neckline seam edge
15. Press neckline and topstitch seam allowance 3mm in from collar seam to hold seam
16. Overlock sleeve and body hems
17. Turn up and press a 2cm hem on both sleeves and body hems
18. Lockstitch hems creating two rows to form a double stitched hem
19. Press garment and hand up
9. Womens Trousers
· Make up front pockets
· Overlock around edges (sides)
· Insert zip include J stitching
· Sew darts and/or pleats
· Add welt pocket to back of trousers
· Make up legs, sew outer side seam and inside leg seam
· Sew around crotch line and up center back
· Add waistband
· Overlock and hem trousers
· Finish with button or hook.
