About Mining Zimbabwe
Mining Zimbabwe Magazine is a publication focused on the mining industry
of Zimbabwe and how it relates and affects the rest of mining done in other
African countries. The magazine’s core focus is on the ever evolving face of the
mining industry, trends, new technologies being developed and used to
improve this crucial sector, as well as new opportunities and investments arising
from it.
Above and beyond what the private sector is introducing to the mining
industry, the magazine looks into what the government’s role is and
legislation passed to protect the natural resources and wealth of Zimbabwe.
We bring industry experts, financial experts and economic as well as legal
experts together to give our readers an in depth look into Zimbabwe’s mining
sector and how it affects the average citizen on the street.
We also bring to the spotlight new investment opportunities within
Zimbabwe’s mining sector and its partnering countries. Mining is fast
becoming the driving force of the African economy, and with Africa being so
rich in various mineral resources, it is no wonder that we will continue to
attract more and more local and foreign investments.
Mining Zimbabwe is not just about the monetary aspect the mining industry
brings, but also looks at mining companies and how they empower and
improve the working conditions of their employees. Without the workers
indeed there is no output of any form. We are a publication therefore set on
bridging the communication divide between mining bosses and their
employees and thereby enhancing the relationship between management and
staff. We also look at how each miner contributes to the success of not only
the mining industry but that of the economy as a whole. From intellectual,
technical, technological and legislative developments in the mining industry,
we cover it all in Mining Zimbabwe.
We are an independent publication, published quarterly by Sungie Media. We
are passionate about mining and issues surrounding mining as we believe that
it directly affects our economy and lives in more ways than one. This magazine
is published with the sole purpose of growing and empowering the mining
industry and highlighting all its challenges as well as putting forth expert
solutions that will secure a stable future for us all. We are determined to be the
go-to publication for all things mining and pride ourselves in accuracy and fair
