3. OBJECTIVES
- Path through the tunnel is the best path or without the
tunnel is the best path.
- Overlay tunneling encapsulates IPv6 packets in IPv4
packets for delivery across an IPv4 infrastructure.
4. PROBLEM STATEMENT
To check the comparison of the latency through the
tunnel or without tunnel(ipv4,ipv6).
5. SOLUTION
๏ฑ IPv4/IPv6 Dual Stack Test a tool that checks the speed of the
ipv4 & ipv6.
๏ฑThis is similar to how you create a generic routing
encapsulation (GRE) tunnel.
๏ฑThe primary difference in these tunneling techniques is the
method in which the tunnel source and destination are
determined.
6. ๏ฑ We found a solution , whether the tunnel is available or not.
Overlay tunnels reduce the maximum transmission unit
(MTU) of an interface by 20 octets.
๏ฑ The packets that exceeds either the default empty value of
1476/9192 bytes
๏ฑ The packet size variables specifies the maximum size in
bytes for the packets transiting the tunnel.(i.e value from
576 through 1476
