Siddharth Khandwekar worked as a graduate student assistant and master's degree student in Computer Science at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. He maintained their website, set up faculty workstations, and implemented a cost-free instant messaging service. Siddharth also monitored and updated a large television to communicate events and news to students. Most significantly, he worked with IT to copy and transfer accreditation documents and materials from another university's website, which helped the college prepare for its accreditation site visit and self-study report. The letter writer recommends Siddharth for an information technology position based on his knowledge, work ethic, and significant contributions to the college's accreditation process.

Re: Letter of Reference for Siddharth Khandwekar
To Whom It May Concern:
It is a pleasure that I write this letter of reference for Siddharth Khandwekar. Siddharth was employed
by the College of Nursing and Health Sciences as a graduate student assistant and master’s degree student in
Computer Science. His primary job was to maintain our website, as well attend to the computer needs of
faculty such as setting up desktops workstations. Importantly, Siddharth worked with the staff to implement a
more effective and cost-free instant messaging service through Microsoft Office. Siddharth also monitored,
updated and generally was in charge of the jumbo television outside of the college. This TV, a gift from
students, is intended to improve communication between the college and students. Accordingly special events,
news items, new staff were edited, programmed and uploaded for viewing by Siddharth. Indeed, we were all
impressed with his complete mastery of all elements of Microsoft Office.
Perhaps the most significant contribution Siddharth made to the college occurred as we prepared an
accreditation self-study report and site visit. A large number of documents, curriculum vitae, syllabi and nursing
program materials needed to be made available to the accreditation site visitors remotely. To accomplish this,
Siddharth worked with various elements of IT and web support services to copy over the website UMass Boston
put together for its accreditation visit. This was extremely helpful as the UMass Boston website contained many
of the same documents and information requested by the nursing accreditors, the Commission on Collegiate
Nursing Education (CCNE). These similar entities included information regarding the library, budget processes
and relevant faculty contracts and policy books. Throughout the development of the self-study, Siddharth
worked with the faculty and administration to arrange, re-arrange, format, and upload materials until we could
unhide the page and make it available to the site visitors. Making all of this possible was Siddharth’s calm self-
assurance that he could accommodate our every need and his ability to always come through by actualizing
what we would present to him conceptually. Truly, the accreditation process was made possible by Siddharth.
Siddharth is a knowledgeable, effective information technologist. Moreover, he is a personable young
man who was able to be effective in a large college with multicultural faculty and students. He is courteous,
