I hereby confirm that Miss Shereen Sakr has undergone a two month placement from July 2013 to
September 2013 at the Neuro-Oncology Research Laboratories, University of Portsmouth, UK under my
supervision.
Miss Sakr was taught and given hands-on experience in conducting several experiments relating to the
optimisation and validation of a 3D model of the human blood brain barrier model.
Miss Sakr has worked consistently through the placement, conducted herself in an organised and
