Purpose of this assignment is to: Analyze the business requirements for an e-strategy, discuss
the benefits of e-commerce, planning an e-strategy. An investigation and discussion must be
done on the technical requirements of the e-strategy.
Scenario : The learner is an operations director for an organization and has been charged
with developing an e-strategy
Task 1
Learner need to analyze the business factors, internal and external to the organization that
dictates the requirement for an e-strategy.
Task 2
Learner need to discuss the benefits e-commerce can offer an organization, together with the
reasons why e-commerce is an activity worth developing.
Task 3
Learner need to produce a plan for an e-strategy. The plan needs to be detailed, with SMART
objectives, and specify the nature of the technical infrastructure that an e-strategy implies.
