Shady Ibrahim - Letter of Recommendation - Rutgers
1. January 15, 2016
To whom it may concern:
I have been asked to submit a letter of recommendation for Shady Ibrahim. I first met Shady last
August in my Public Speaking class. From our first meeting he seemed attentive, motivated, and
well prepared. In fact, as the semester progressed Shady was highly contributory throughout
every class session. This affirmed my original impression of Shady as a curious student who was
willing to work at his highest level of productivity throughout every single class.
Shady would be an asset for many reasons, but three stand out in my mind. He is extremely
organized, patient, and professional. A brief but pertinent example will illustrate this fact.
At the end of last semester, I was reviewing the attendance and grade records. Unlike many of
Shady’s classmates, he had a near perfect attendance record, along with solid grades on all
required speeches. In addition, I made a few “mental notes” after several classes throughout the
semester regarding Shady. A few that come to mind are “highly contributory” in every class
session, “very patient” when dealing with challenging class members, “excellently prepared” for
weekly assignments, and “highly motivated” regardless of the task at hand. Even now, Shady
stands out in my mind as an independent, yet collegial individual, whose maturity, ability to
adapt to others, and professionalism surpass his years.
Shady does not take on tasks lightly, and therefore I believe that he will be committed and loyal.
He is an intelligent, caring, and persistent man who would be an asset to any endeavor worthy of
his time and commitment, and I recommend him without reservation.
Sincerely,
