A native of Cosenza, Italy, Sergio Iantorno studied linguistics at the University of Naples and began his career as a social worker in Germany, where he helped thousands of Italian immigrants find housing and jobs over the course of three years. Sergio Iantorno later moved to Canada and began working in retail banking and journalism before relocating to the United States after meeting his wife while touring the United States in the mid 1960's. After working as a tour conductor, he acquired his real estate license in 1972 and began building his portfolio of rental properties.
