Scotcash is a social enterprise which was founded with support from organisations including Glasgow City Council and Glasgow Housing Association, in order to tackle financial exclusion. We provide affordable loans to those in Glasgow and the surrounding area, which are based on our customers’ current circumstances, and we do not lend more than they are able to pay back. Trusted partnerships with the Royal Bank of Scotland and Barclays have allowed us to open 2,255 bank accounts since our inception, and working with many Credit Unions we have also opened 645 savings accounts.
