around human being
• Moral- human nature, later added up human problems and

• It is concerned with understanding and explanation of behavior
in general and study of general characteristics in all living
organisms. It formulates theory and laws related to processes
like learning, motivation, emotion and other components of
behavior.

5. Applied psychology
• The field of professional psychology grew after world war 2. it is
based on general laws and principles of psychology developed
by basic. Psychology had to develop methods and techniques to
help people improve their behavior, making them move
effectively and contributing to their own lives. Findings were
implemented in schools, hospitals, industries etc. It is basically
related to ‘how’.
• E.g., Education, Counseling, organizational, Clinical- diagnostic,
Applied Social Psychology
