Agricultural holding Sagro was founded in 2009. Sagro manages the following Smart Holding assets – Kalyta group of companies (Kyiv Region), horticultural company Vesna (the Crimea) and also develops other agricultural projects. Kalyta group of companies is one of the largest pig farms in Ukraine with a complete production cycle, which includes Agricultural Complex Kalyta, Kalyta Experimental Animal Feed Factory (KEAFF), and a horticultural unit Sagro Nord.
