EMPLOYMENT PROFILE
 My previous employment as the Manager for both, Dental Divisions and the Property sector under Dr S Waja, has
demonstrated my eagerness to complete a project efficiently and has influenced my ability to find optimal solutions
to many property related issues as well as Dental Practice management related issues.
 My leadership qualities, combined with the knowledge of Johannesburg City Council tasks, have taught me to work
efficiently under pressure and the importance of communication and team work as well as influencing my
managerial skills.
 My achievements in the administration of property management, practice management as well as the maintenance
management have demonstrated my determination and competitive nature.
 If given an opportunity I firmly believe I can become an asset to your company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
March 2000-December 2013 DR S A WAJA
 Dental Practice Management including management of Dr Waja’s day to day diary.
 Maintenance of the Dental practice, ensuring targets are met in respect of number of patients to be seen for all 7
Dentists.
 Marketing of Dental practices.
 Purchasing and distribution of materials to other of Dr Waja’s practices (Dental and maintenance).
 Confirmation of medical aid benefits, creditors, debtors, petty cash.
 1st Interviews with new staff, salary allocation, training(reception and dental assistance)

 Maintenance and housekeeping Management
 Tenant Management
 Monthly Rental statements and collection of rentals
 Electricity Meters Management and cash collections

 Managed a car wash and restaurant for Dr Waja for approximately 2 years.
 Learnt a lot about people skills, getting the job done, as well as learning to respect a very patient, energetic and
positive Dentist and entrepreneur.

GENERAL NOTES
 Prior to working with Dr Waja I had the privilege of working in the insurance industry for over 7 years and the
company disinvested in South Africa. Also worked as a Dispatch clerk with a Pharmaceutical company under the
management of Mr. Ahmed Vaid.
 Also attended various religious gatherings for spiritual upliftment.
 Started a Dental and medical supplies business with a partner but lack of capital stalled the movement forward for
this demanding environment.
