H1 : β ≠ 0 GDP of Land Transport has an impact on GDP Total)
 Here, p-value is 0.0000679 which is less than .05, so we fail to reject the null
hypothesis. So GDP of Land Transport has an impact on GDP Total.
Simple Regression Analysis(GDP of Water
Transport Sector)
Corresponding Hypothesis
 Hypothesis testing:
Ho : β = 0 (GDP of water transport doesn’t have any impact on GDP Total)
H1 : β ≠ 0 (GDP of water transport has an impact on GDP Total)
 Here, p-value is 0.0008317 which is less than .05, so we can reject the null
hypothesis. So GDP of water transport has an impact on GDP Total.
Simple Regression Analysis(GDP of Air
Transport Sector)
Corresponding Hypothesis
 Hypothesis testing:
Ho : β = 0 (GDP of air transport doesn’t have any impact on GDP Total)
H1 : β ≠ 0 (GDP of air transport has an impact on GDP Total)
 Here, p-value is 0.0027 which is less than .05, so we reject the null hypothesis. So
GDP of air transport has an impact on GDP Total.
Simple Regression Analysis(GDP of Support
Transport and Storage)
Corresponding Hypothesis
 Hypothesis testing:
Ho : β = 0 (GDP of support transport services and storage doesn’t have any impact
on GDP Total)
H1 : β ≠ 0 (GDP of support transport services and storage has an impact on GDP
Total)
 Here, p-value is 0.00000285 which is greater than .05, so we reject the null
hypothesis. So Growth rate of support transport services and storage has an impact
on GDP Total.
Simple Regression Analysis(GDP of Post and
Telecom)
Corresponding Hypothesis
 Hypothesis testing:
Ho : β = 0 (GDP of post and telecom doesn’t have any impact on GDP Total)
H1 : β ≠ 0 (GDP of post and telecom has an impact on GDP Total)
 Here, p-value is 0.00000216 which is less than .05, so we can reject the null
hypothesis. So GDP of post and telecom has an impact on GDP Total.
Multiple Regression Model (GDP Total)
Corresponding Hypothesis
 By using the ANOVA table, we can judge the effectiveness of the model.
Let,
Ho : β1 = β2 = β3= β4 = β5 = 0 (The model is useful/fit)
H1 : At least one β ≠ 0 (The model is not useful/fit)
Here, p-value is 0.000180 which is less than 0.05, so we can conclude that the regression
model of estimating the GDP Total is useful/fit.
Conclusion
The purpose of our study is to determine the relationship among this sector and the
whole GDP change of Bangladesh. As we found some strong relationship here so any kind
of NGO’s who are working for the infrastructure development, the foreign investors as
well as the government and the corresponding ministry will get a guideline by this study.
