There are about 5 types of tulsi mentioned according to Ayurveda –
Vishnu-Priya,
Basil Sweet Lemon
Ram Tulsi,
Biswa Tulsi and
Kala tulsi.

Visnu -Priya (Ocimum Sanctum) 2.5ml
Biswa Tulsi (Ocimum Basllicum) 2.0ml
Rama Tulsi (Ocimum Gratissimum) 1.0ml
Kala Tulsi(OcimumCanum ) 1.5ml
Basil Sweet Lemon-(Ocimum Citroforum) 1.0ml
Base q.s.
Recommended Dosage: 1-2 drops of Oleeve pancham tulsi in a glass of water/tea 3-4 times a day or as
directed by the physician.
Process of Manufacturing of Tulsi Ark:
Tulsi ark can be extracted directly as boiling of tulsi leaves in 1 glass of water until it reduces to ¼ of original
volume but due to this process oils available in tulsi will be evaporated and extract will be not of standard
appearense and odour due to this in manufacturing distillation process involved to reduce evaporation of oils and
natural perfume of basil.
