6. On the third day, Donna got Doug to
a Campground in Branson, MO.
June and Roger had beat them
by only five minutes.
The Guys were speechless! Overjoyed.
7.
8. We loved
spending five
nights at
Silver Dollar
City’s
“The
Wilderness”
Campground
We made frequent use of the
Free Shuttle Bus to and
from Silver Dollar City.
9. Donna and June had already
reserved “front and center” seats
for the totally wonderful Lettermen
concert in downtown Branson!
10. We struck a great balance between
our own campsite food and the
featured Barbequed Ribs,
as well as the amazing Brunch
at Silver Dollar City.
11. But our favorite group, by far,
was Silver Dollar City’s resident group,
The Homestead Pickers…
All four of
us were in
Bluegrass
Heaven,
enjoying
several
groups
over a four
day period.
12. …And the greatest thrill of all was when
Doug Domingo sat in with the
Homestead Pickers, told a few stories,
and Sang Two Songs with them!
13. It was a
sure sign
that the
Pickers
loved his
singing
& playing
when
The Homestead Pickers showed Doug the LOCKER
where he can store his guitar
“next time he comes back!”
14. After five nights in Branson, we
“caravanned” to Eureka Springs, Arkansas,
Where we fell in love with the
Wanderlust RV Park and its owners,
Randall and Teresa Vaughn.
15. For the Finale of our Mystery Trip,
Donna and June had bought tickets
for The Great Passion Play
in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
Unforgettable!
The next morning, both lucky couples carried home
precious memories of a spectacular Mystery Week,
and two grateful guys know that they will never
find a way to give back what they received.
