WHAT IS SEO?
SEO means Search Engine Optimization
and is the process used to optimize a
website's technical configuration, content
relevance, and link popularity so its pages
can become easily findable, more relevant, and
popular towards user search queries, and as a consequence, search
engines rank them better.
Search engines recommend SEO efforts that benefit both
the user search experience and page’s ranking, by featuring
content that fulfills user search needs.
NEED OF SEO
SEO helps to ensure that a site is accessible to a
search engine and improves the chances that the
site will be found by the search engine.
The goal of any experienced SEO is to establish a
strong foundation for a beautiful website with a
clean, effective user experience that is easily
discoverable in search, thanks to the
trust and credibility of the brand and its digital
properties.

 SEO techniques are classified into two broad
categories:
• White Hat SEO - Techniques that search engines recommend as part of a

• Black Hat SEO - Techniques that search engines do not approve and
attempt to minimize the effect of. These techniques are also known as
spamdexing. Attempting ranking improvements that are disapproved by
the search engines and/or involve deception.

 SEO strategy is a detailed plan to improve a website’s search engine rankings and
earn more traffic.
 First things first. You can’t do much without knowing
what keywords your target market is using to find
solutions to the problems that your company solves.
 The key here is to use your marketing sense and
create engaging content that is valuable to your
target market.
 This is beyond website content, but the good user
