My dissertation research project involves the design and synthesis of novel targeted fluorescent probes for live cell imaging. I have made excellent progress on the synthesis and characterization of new fluorescent triazaborolopyridinium-imaging probes, and the development of a new bioorthogonal methodology for the labeling of unsaturated membrane lipids in living cells. During this project I used different instrumets like FT-ICRMS, Confocal microscopy, NMR, IR and UV-Fluorimeter.
