I completed my DPhil (PhD) at the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford, UK, where I studied the thermal and structural evolution of the Himalayan Range and Tibetan Plateau. My research combined regional tectonics, petrology, thermodynamic modelling, isotope geochronology, and geochemistry in several field- and laboratory-based studies. In particular, I have done work on Barrovian metasediments from the Karakoram metamorphic complex (north Pakistan), mafic eclogite from the Tso Morari massif (northwest India), migmatites and mylonites from the eastern Himalayan syntaxis (southeast Tibet), and mylonites from the Red River and Mae Ping shear zones (north Vietnam and Thailand, r...
