The International 2017 AGRI INVEST RUSSIA SUMMIT is an important platform for direct
dialogue between representatives of legislative and executive authorities with the agrarian
business community. The Summit will be a direct continuation of the constructive dialogue
that took place on July 11, 2017 at the parliamentary hearings on the topic: «Priority
directions of legislative support for the development of the agro-industrial complex.» The

2. In Russia, the year 2017 is marked by a number of macroeconomic achievements: inflation is reduced to the level
set by the authorities, economic growth is outlined, import substitution and development of domestic agriculture
are actively underway. The Ministry of Agriculture, RF has supported 41 investment projects in the amount of 14.8
billion rubles. The majority of the investment projects are aimed at construction and modernization of greenhouses
and dairy complexes, potato, vegetable and fruit storages, as well as breeding and genetic centers. The state
authorities provide substantial compensation of direct costs incurred by the construction and modernization of
agro-industrial facilities. The Russian Direct Investment Fund is negotiating investment into Russian agricultural
projects with several major international investors.
