Prof. Ricardo Jimenez-Peris was a postdoc researcher at ETH Zurich (EHTZ) during 1999- 2000, working on scalable database replication. This investigation was materialized in the Middle-R database replication system that incorporated new features such as full & partial replication, 1-copy-snapshot isolation, and geo-replication. The book “Database Replication” published by Morgan & Claypool Pub. in 2010 co-authored by him summarizes this research.
