2. Early life
Diana Frances Spencer was born on 1 July
1961 at Park House, Sandringham
Norfolk, Paris.
She became a media figure, after
announcing her engagement to Prince
Charles, the eldest son of Queen
Elizabeth II, after a brief courtship. Their
wedding took place on July 29, 1981.
She was an activist, philanthropist and
British aristocrat, first wife of the then
Prince of Wales, the current King Charles
III, with whom she had two children.
3. She was celebrated in the media
for her unconventional approach
to charity work.
Initially, his sponsorship focused on children and young
people, but later he was recognized for his participation in
favor of the care and social integration of AIDS patients
and his campaign for the elimination of land mines.

On August 31, 1997, Diana died in a
car accident in the Pont de l'Alma
tunnel, on the north bank of the
Seine River, in Paris; while the
