Today’s
Hymn of:
6. What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
What can make me whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
7. For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
8. Nothing can for sin atone,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
Naught of good that I have done,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
9. This is all my hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
10. Now by this I’ll overcome—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
Now by this I’ll reach my home—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
11. Glory! Glory! This I sing—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
All my praise for this I bring—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
13. (Matthew 26:26-36)
Minister: And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and
blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said,
“Take, eat; this is my body.”
People: And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to
them saying, “Drink, ye all of it,”
Minister: “For this is My blood of the new testament, which
is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
People: “But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this
fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you
in my Father’s Kingdom.”
14. Minister: And when they had sung a hymn, they went out into
the Mount of Olives.
People: Then saith Jesus unto them, “All ye shall be offended
because of me this night: For it is written, I will smithe the
shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.”
Minister: “But after I am risen again, I will go before you into
Galilee.”
People: Peter answered and said unto Him “Though all men
shall be offended because of Thee, Yet will I never be
offended.”
15. Minister: Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, that
this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me
thrice.”
People: Peter said unto him, “Though I should die with
thee, yet will I not deny thee.” Likewise also said all the
disciples.
Together: Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place
called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, “Sit ye
here, while I go and pray yonder.” Glory Patrai
17. I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of
heaven and Earth, and in Jesus Christ His only
Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy
Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under
Pontius Pilate, was crucified dead and buried.
The third day He aroused form the dead He
ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right
hand of God, the Father Almighty, from thence
He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I
believe I in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Catholic
Church, the communion of the saints, the
forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen
20. As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth.
2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this
man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said
Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of
God might be displayed in him. 4 As long as it is
day, we must do the works of him who sent me.
Night is coming, when no one can work. 5 While I
am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
21. 6 After saying this, he spit on the ground, made
some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s
eyes. 7 “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of
Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man
went and washed, and came home seeing.
8 His neighbors and those who had formerly seen
him begging asked, “Isn’t this the same man who
used to sit and beg?” 9 Some claimed that he was.
Others said, “No, he only looks like him.”
But he himself insisted, “I am the man.”
22. 10 “How then were your eyes opened?” they asked.
11 He replied, “The man they call Jesus made some
mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to
Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and then I
could see.”
12 “Where is this man?” they asked him.
“I don’t know,” he said.
13 They brought to the Pharisees the man who had
been blind.
29. The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.
