This document analyzes 2015 crime data from Los Angeles to help staff police patrols. It finds that: 1. Theft, assault, and traffic crimes were most common in Central LA and Hollywood, while theft, traffic crimes, and burglary topped West LA. 2. Crime rates peaked on Fridays, Saturdays, and Thursdays citywide, though the top three days varied by region. 3. Time periods between 12PM-7PM and 7PM-12AM saw the highest crime counts daily across all regions.
