CSM (Cisco Security Management) Testing:
Cisco Security Manager enables you to efficiently manage security policies on Cisco devices
in a wide range of networks, from small networks consisting of a few devices to large networks with
thousands of devices. Security Manager also supports multiple configuration views that are
optimized for different use cases, provides device grouping capabilities, and enables you to monitor,
view, and examine events on your network. Security Manager also provides health and performance
monitoring and image management for many types of devices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Handling Manual-System Testing and Automation (basics)
● Preparing test setup with Normal install, AUS and ACS integration for working environment
and verifying the defects
● Handled System-App Infra Testing and took full ownership
● Preparing test plan and uploading the document in EDCS and addressed the PRRQ comments
● Handled Feature testing and Functionality impact root causes
● Regression, Sanity and Exploratory Testing for System and App-infra features ownership

Sustenance testing of CSM (Cisco Security Management):
Vulnerability testing is the process of identifying vulnerabilities present in a system that can
be exploited. CSM uses third software and we are upgrading to latest versions which might has
vulnerability fixes compared to previous versions used. Ensuring that vulnerabilities, which are fixed,
does not show up again is an important task for CSM. Hence doing vulnerability testing is very
critical, as we don’t have control over the third party software code. We should make sure; that the
third party software doesn’t have major vulnerabilities and those vulnerabilities does not exploit our
product in any way.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Preparing test bed to reproduce the defects found in customer environment
● Involved in Customer TAC cases and recreate the issue in local test bed
● Validating and verifying the defects and testing the areas around the fix to make sure no
regression issues are generated

results and movement of defects to appropriate state

Feature/Manual testing of CSM in various domains and releases:
Description: Taking care of functionality testing of a module called Feature/System testing in
Windows OS (7/8.1/Server 2008/Server 2012/Server 2012 R2).

● Doing functional testing of module called System-Appinfra/FW/GUI-API changes
and testing in Posture scrum
● Preparing test cases, test plans and sending it for review and approval

Prime Insight is a reporting/analytics application which provides analytics/aggregated data on
Network devices by collecting the device information such as Interface Utilization, QoS, Events,
Alarms and Syslog’s. Also it allows the user to create a custom view of getting trend of any of these
information also it allows the user to Schedule reports. The application is built over cloud
environment which supports multi-tenants and the storage & processing of data done by Hadoop eco
system including components Hdfs, Hbase, spark streaming, mesos etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Handling Manual Testing based on the assigned user stories
● Preparing test setup with Normal install and working environment and verifying the defects
● Preparing test plan and uploading the document in PRRQ
● Sending SQL queries and check on the data populated
● HA on data population in the UI.
● Agile process and Experience in collaborating with a US-based team
