1. TechnoHull SV90
PROJECT 31
The SV90 from Greece is just over 9m in length, with a 3m beam and
a weight a shade over two tonnes. It’s one Mercury Verado 350CXL
outboard helps shift it to a top speed of 54 knots. It even comes with
an electric toilet—and although it has a ballast tank for rough water and
oversize high-speed racing trim tabs—I still wouldn’t fancy my chances
using the head at those kind of speeds. Mind you, for 135,000 Euros it
does go like the proverbial off a shovel.
This is the first boat that Princess (Marine Projects,
Plymouth, UK) ever built in 1968. It’s be loving
restored—with beautiful teak work, an original brass
compass and framework for the windows being
sourced out of old men’s sheds—this is a boat of
many stories. The boat originally sold for 3,400
pounds and its sale marked the beginning of the
success of the Plymouth shipyard that went on to
create the Princess 32, 33 and 37 in the 1970s.

HONG KONG BOAT SHOW 2016
Hosted at the Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club, Hong Kong’s
largest boating extravaganza showcased over 75 yachts worth
a cool HK1 billion. The four-day event featured the biggest and
best yachts and cruisers along with water sports, entertainment
and food to raise money for the Children’s Cancer Foundation.

行，展出超過75艘船，總值超過十億港元。為期四天的展覽重
點介紹 最大和最好的帆船和遊艇，還設有各項水上活動、娛樂
和美食，為兒童癌病基金籌款。
這是Princess造船廠（英國普利茅斯海洋工程）
在1968年建造的第一首船。它已被回復原貌——
漂亮的柚木、原始的黃銅羅盤和取自舊農舍的
窗框。這是一艘載滿故事的船。這艘船當時以
3,400英鎊出售，這次銷售標誌著普利茅斯造船
廠成功的第一步，它隨後在70年代陸續建造建
Princess 32、33和37。

2. This is the largest yacht in the entire MC collection, and had its global
launch in Hong Kong on 15 April 15. The yacht at the boat show was
the first MCY105 commission globally which was just sold in Hong Kong,
closely following a second one due to arrive in eight weeks time. With its
signature double-round windows on port and starboard, this really is an
ocean-going 6-star hotel. Priced at a cool 10 million Euros, you might
need to save up just a bit longer for this one.
