Computer Graphics: Ray-Tracer Nov.2013-Dec.2013
• Based on Phong shading and NTB space, animate the shadow effect and recursive reflecting.
• Averaged multiple rays to one pixel to realize antialiasing and soft shadowing.
Computer Graphics: 3D Simulation Roller Coaster Oct.2013-Nov.2013
• Based on Catmull-Rom Splines, lighting and texture mapping to draw roller coaster scene.
• Based on NTB to modify the angle of the camera to animate the realistic scene.
• Added velocity algorithm to change the speed of camera to animate the velocity effects.
Machine Learning: Regression on NBA Player’s Playoff Performance Nov.2014-Dec.2014
• Conducted Bayesian Model Selection to get the related models for regression.
• Conducted different basic linear and nonlinear models for the given training data, then tested on testing data to find the
best model and corresponding parameter. (Coding by R language)
Artificial Intelligence: Number Recognition based on Neuron Network Apr.2014-May.2014
• Used sigmoid function for active function when calculating output and backward propagation principles to update
weights in training 3-layer neuron network system.
• Imported test samples to the neuron network system, checked the consistency.
Digital Image Processing: Spatial and Face Morphing Nov.2013-Dec.2013
• Divided the corresponding parts of original and objective image, developed transform matrix and algorithm to morph
the part of original image into new shape with ideal effect.
• Given two images of two different faces, extracted corresponding features and divided images into triangle parts,
conducted spatial warping to realize alignment of same feature.
• Created a video using MATLAB to show the procedure of morphing and alignment.

• Conducted encoder of Shannon-Fano, Huffman, Adaptive Huffman, QM by C++.
• Conducted image compression by JPEG, video compression based on H.264 and H.265.

• Extracted the color feature of each frame of video together with audio feature, made analysis of corresponding feature
then made synchronization.
