Qaymar Mustafayev,
Qaymar was employed by Baku European Games Organising Committee from 2nd
March
2015 to 30th
June 2015 as Event Services Venue Manager, European Games Park.
Qaymar was responsible for developing and implementing the event services plan at
European Games Park, Common Domain with the aim of ensuring a safe, enjoyable and
welcoming experience to Baku2015 games spectators.
Event Services is one of the largest functions in the Games primarily composed of
volunteers performing key customer facing roles on venue such as directional marshals,
ticket scanning, ushering, mobility services, spectator information and direction. It is a
highly complex and dynamic working environment requiring effective communication and
organisational skills, the ability to negotiate and influence, teamwork and excellent
leadership of a blended workforce of volunteer and paid staff.
Qaymar was an effective member of the team, delivering the event services operations. He
demonstrated operational leadership, communication skills and the ability to think on his
feet whilst maintaining composure under stressful situations. He trained and led the
volunteers and paid staff at the 1st
European Games in Baku.
Qaymar successfully fulfilled the role of Event Services Venue Manager and I would
recommend Qaymar for a position within any organisation.
