Pavel Marichal is currently pursuing his PhD at the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg, Germany. Under the supervision of Dr. Michael Wolff and Prof. Dr. Udo Reichl, Mr. Marichal's research focuses on downstream processes for cell culture-derived influenza vaccines. Sharing the view of this institute, Mr. Marichal's research topics attempt to shorten the gap between basic scientific research and industrial application in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
