Zion stretches out her hands, but there is no one to comforther. The LORD has decreed for Jacob that his neighbors become his foes; Jerusalem has become an unclean thing among them.
4. Zion stretches forth her hands, but there is no comforter for her. The Lord has commanded concerning and against Jacob that his neighbors should be his adversaries; Jerusalem has become a filthy thing among them [an object of contempt].
