I noted your attachment and your gracious words and thoughts : indeed 16 years of
work serving gallantly the same banner create a special binding which do matter a lot
when time forces either party to choose different new venues
Although I myself have changed since 2011 responsibilities the people and the activity
of the Company I had the privilege to lead have been always close to my heart
appreciating their genuine dedication, passion ,commitment that you all put in your daily
commitment
I truly liked especially the enthusiasm that those of Italian heritage like you showed
clearly expressing their pride and unique so special motivation for serving a Company
flying high the Italian banner in the world
This more than anything else in particular distinguished you and I am sure that beyond
and above your own professionalism and capabilities well demonstrated in your 16
years of trusted work with the ENI Group, you will be able to capitalize on it and let you
continue to inspire you in any new venture you will be pursuing in 2013 and the years to
come
As your former President and CEO from 2005 to 2011 I wish you a well deserved
success and satisfaction in your new business challenges ahead and should the need
