Wrote memoranda to assist partners in active litigation matters. Drafted points in an appellate
brief for a client claiming entitlement to veteran’s benefits. Conducted research and wrote a
memorandum outlining new Court of Appeals precedent to be distributed to corporate attorneys
for client advisement. Assisted community center in drafting contracts to be used with vendors.

Wrote my own case brief and points in briefs and motions for Assistant District Attorneys on
issues including preservation of claims, evidence suppression, plea legitimacy, and
ineffectiveness of counsel. Aided Assistant District Attorneys in their preparation for hearings,
drafted a plea agreement, attended trials and oral arguments, conducted document review, and
wrote memoranda on legal issues such as double jeopardy, speedy trial, and whether certain
consequences after sentencing were collateral or direct.
