Molenpad
Yesterday I had an amazing experience. I had my first appontment to do Pilates in a studio in the
city. It's usually very busy and difficult to find a parking place.
I was almost ready to give up, when I decided to go into the street where the studio was:
Molenpad. This is the street where my mother in law, Jannie , was born.
She died three months ago at 98.
As I drove into the street I saw three men outside a garage.
I asked "Is this a public garage?" One dark man answered "Yes."
"Can I park my car here?"
"Yes, just leave the keys inside." he said.
I felt a bit worried but otherwise I would miss my appointment, so I did as he said.
After my class, I went across the street to the garage.
"Can I pay with my credit card I asked?"
"No", he answered, "but it's o.k., "pay me next time"
I drove away in a daze.
Did Jannie have something to do with this?
I guess I will never know, but it made me feel that there are many of us to be trusted on planet
Earth, thank God.
