1. MUSIC AS THIS ART FORM PERTAINS TO HIS LIFE

God is truly universal. Music is also universal. The first is all about Religion, and music is an
Art. In both people show Belief, Faith, emotion, honor, love, and passion which has to be
authentic, and real. Health is what we all need to carry-on both mentally, and physically.
This is Fred Souleman’s life story In a nut shell.
Fred praises God because God has delivered blessings to Fred that has to put God first.
Also with Surgeons, and other medical personnel that has helped Fred to
be able to perform, and sing music at this time in his life.
The last year (in 2014) was totally different for Fred. In April he a biopsy taken from his left
Cheek, from which he had scar tissue behind Fred’s left ear from a previous operation that Dr.
Walker a previous Surgeon had to remove a tumor (Basil cell carcinoma), in 2009.
After the biopsy 2 weeks later he was diagnosed as having a rare form of skin cancer called a
Merkel cell carcinoma, and as Lead Surgeon Dr. Neligan from University of Washington Medical
Cancer
University of Washington Medicine (which is one of the best medical centers in the World).
Dr. Neligan told Fred that Tumor had gotten very, very aggressive, so Fred could not perform
with his band because of the aggressiveness of the Merkel cell carcinoma.
When the operation date came up (June 30, 2014), at 7:30 a m Fred was scheduled to have
tumor removed.
He was admitted to the pre- anesthesiologist department this is when his
13 hours of being operated on had gone on longer than everyone had expected.
After approximately 1 ½ months of healing from Dr. Neligan removing the tumor.
In August Fred started 6 weeks of radiation Treatment form U. W. Medicine.

2. The whole thing about this important health issue is that Fred was in this Band.
They call ourselves “Hot & Cool”. A six-member group of artists, and musicians who have been
performing in other groups, and bands, so Fred had taken more time off from music, which
was very hard on Fred, because he has so, so much passion, and love for this art-form.
This is why Fred recognizes where God has brought him through the hardest times, and now
his band:
“Hot & Cool performing in 2015 and we started back performing in January 2015, and have
been since.
He has also released a 14 track R&B Old-School album titled: FRED CANCER SURVIVOR 2012.
God is so, so good to me, and he is so, so worthy to be praised, first!
Fred’s personal story is about God, and health is the best wealth through this musical journey in
life.
