2. Winter Springs
Up until the mid-1950’s Winter Springs was
virtually open land covered in scrub pine and
palmettos. Today, the City’s growth rivals that of
adjacent Oviedo. With the development of
Seminole County’s first upscale golf-course
community, Tuscawilla, in the 70’s, Winter
Springs began to grow and flourish. In 2007, it
was voted 2nd best place to live in Florida by
Money Magazine.
3. Oviedo
Settled over 140 years ago, the City of Oviedo
got its first big break in 1964 when it was
selected as home to Florida Technological
University, now University of Central Florida, one
of the largest and most diverse universities in the
country. Since then, Oviedo has experienced
tremendous growth and become a popular
community for downtown Orlando commuters.

several exclusive country club communities,

roughly 190 acres and has 37 contributing
structures. It became part of the National Register
of Historic Places in October 1990.
5. Lake Mary
Lake Mary is one of Central Florida’s hottest growth
areas. CNN/Money Magazine continue to rank it as
the #1 small town in Florida in which to live. Located
approximately 18 miles north of Orlando, the City
continues to be a choice location for high tech
businesses. Among other things Lake Mary is
known for its well planned residential communities,
excellent schools, prominent businesses including
outstanding restaurants, and a variety of shopping
opportunities.
6. Casselberry

Casselberry has evolved from a sparsely
populated agricultural town to a bustling, dynamic
City which has maintained an enviable growth rate
in both residential and commercial areas. Offering
a rich quality of life supported by excellent City
services, tranquil residential surroundings, and a
continually expanding business market,
Casselberry is an exciting and thriving community
in which to live, work and play.
