Mr. Ajibero is a Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and Remote Sensing Specialist. He currently

2. Specialist, he has worked on a number of projects which involve Digital image processing, among which
are;
 General Landuse Plan of University of Nassarawa, located at Lafia. In the project, data acquired
through Remote Sensing was used to identify the features on the University permanent site for
proper setting of the layout plan by the planner.
 Development of the Community-Based Solid Waste Management Facility in Gombe, Gombe State.
In the project, he used his knowledge of Remote Sensing to process the acquired satellite imagery
of Gombe Town, to produce the base map of the town.
 Design and Construction Supervision of Ogbese Dam Project at Ise-Orun, Ekiti State, where his
knowledge of Remote Sensing was used to assist the surveyors in the perimeter survey of the
dam reservoir.
He has worked on various GIS Mapping projects and coordinated the field and GIS aspects of the 2007
GIS and Hydrogeological Mapping of Area 6, comprising of six states in the South-West and Edo State. He
was the Database Coordinator; field Supervisor and also GIS Analyst in the Baseline Survey and GIS
Mapping of Water Supply and Sanitation Facilities in South-West Nigeria between 2007 and 2008. He has
participated in numerous projects like the 2006 Bayelsa State Baseline Studies for Participating Communities
in the Local Empowerment and Environmental Management Project (LEEMP), Project Impact Evaluation of
LEEMP Communities in Nigeria in 2009, Study and Design of Multipurpose Dam at Ogbese, Ise-Orun, Ekiti
State, Poverty Mapping of Some Selected Communities in Niger State in the year 2009 and so many others.

2015 Geomatics Nigeria Limited, Ibadan, Oyo State
I was one of the main instructors in the Federal Government Graduate Internship
Scheme (GIS) where interns were trained on how to effectively utilise the duration
of their internship to either get employed in an organization or become an
entrepreneur. I took the session on employability skills for about 3 hours. This
session clearly explain some soft skills needed for interns to excel in their job
pursuit.
2015 MEAA Spatial Planners and Environmental Managers, Ibadan, Oyo State
I was the Team leader and the main instructors in the Geographic Information
System (GIS)/ Global Positioning System (GPS) training for the staff of Water
Corporation of Oyo State (WCOS) towards the setting up of GIS Laboratory and
integration of GIS into WCOS operations to improved revenue generation. The
training was conducted at three different periods between September 2015 –
December, 2015, for the junior, middle and the senior cadre.

I participated in the Facility mapping for the Baseline Studies data of the Osun

Communities before CSDP intervention and after CSDP interventions.

Assisted in the Study, Design and Construction Supervision of Ogbese Dam
Project at Ise-Orun, Ekiti State as a GIS Analyst. In the Project I used Autocad to
Reproduce the design already drawn manually. I also used Surfer and ArcGIS
for the production of the Contour line of the project site.

I participated in the Topographic Survey of Pan African University Permanent site
as a GIS Expert. In this Project I used ArcGIS and Surfer for the Production of the
topographical map and the Digital Elevation Model.

I was involved in the Project Impact Evaluation of the LEEMP Communities (i.e.
Nine States evenly spread across the country). In the project I assisted in the
Logistics for the fieldwork which involves the collection of data, Data Entry, Data
Analysis and the Report writing. This really helps to evaluate the level of
improvement in the standard of living of the people before and after LEEMP
interventions in the Community.
