OSI Steel Pvt Ltd (OSI) was incorporated as a private limited company for
steel trading. The company then entered into a 50:50 Joint venture with a
Japanese Steel Trading House, for promoting Japanese Steel Mills to the
Indian customers. In the year 2011 OSI was fortunate to become the
direct Trading house for Hyundai Steel, Korea.

Wind Power
The Energy Ball is a spherical small wind turbine
and is in particular suitable for installation in
both rural & urban area’s. Since the Energy Ball
does not cause any nuisance due to noise or
shadow, permits are generally granted faster
than comparable small wind turbines..

4. The Energy Ball
The Energy Ball is installed on a free standing pole with a total
height of 10 or 15 meter, or on a flat roof mast with a total height
of 3 meters. The advantages of the Energy Ball compared to a
conventional wind turbine with propeller are:
No noise; the sound of wind turbines is caused by the air flow at
the end of the blades (propellers), by the spherical design of the
Energy Ball these ends lack and therefore the Energy Ball is
noiseless.
Higher efficiency; the aerodynamic design of the Energy Ball
ensures higher efficiency of power generation by surface flows,
compared to traditional wind turbines.
Aesthetic design; the shape and appearance of the Energy Ball
are excellent suitable for placement near buildings, especially in
combination with its quietness. Its design also prevents the
formation of shadow. Due to its attractive appearance, the Energy
Ball is a great favourite of architects and project developers.

6. Energy Ball V 100
At a wind speed of 17 m/s (wind force 8 Beaufort) the Energy Ball V100 reaches its
maximal output, the maximal output of the Energy Ball V100 is 550 Watt. When the
Energy Ball V100 is delivering its maximal output, the power supplied to the grid by
the WindPower Inverter is 500 W. The Energy Ball V100 is capable of generating
500kWh per annum at a site with an average wind speed of 7 m/s. It is however
necessary to install the Energy Ball V100 in an open location on top of a high pole
(12 m) to achieve this.

7. Energy Ball V200
At a wind speed of 19 m/s (wind force 8 to 9 Beaufort) the Energy
Ball V200 reaches its maximal output, the maximal output of the
Energy Ball V200 is 2500 W. When the Energy Ball V200 is delivering
its maximal output, the power supplied to the grid by the WindPower
Inverter is 2250 W. The Energy Ball V200 is capable of generating
1750 kWh per annum at a site with an average wind speed of 7 m/s.
It is however necessary to install the Energy Ball V200 in an open
location on top of a high pole (15 m) to achieve this.

Introduction
The Home Energy Streetlight is a clever combination of an Energy Ball
and solar modules, thereby making optimal use of the compliment
character of these two renewable energy sources.
The Streetlight is capable of converting enough wind and solar energy to
not only power sustainable and energy-efficient LED lighting, but also
supply sufficient power to charge for example
◦ An electric bicycle or car.
◦ It can also be equipped with electronic charging points for PC and / or
mobile phone

12. Street Lights
The Home Energy Streetlight is available in four different versions:
STREETLIGHT S
The Streetlight S is the smallest and is the ideal solution for sustainable streetlights. The
Streetlight S consists of an Energy Ball V100 and a 240 Wp solar module, installed on a mast with
a length of 9 meters. Optionally the Streetlight S is fitted with a banner, LED fixture or charge
point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.
STREET LIGHT M
The Streetlight M consists of an Energy Ball V100 and two 240 Wp solar panels, installed on a
mast with a length of 9 meters. Optionally the Streetlight M can be provided with a banner, LED
fixture or mount point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.
STREETLIGHT L
The Streetlight L consists of an Energy Ball V200 and two 240 Wp solar panels, installed on a mast
with a length of 10 meters. Optionally the Streetlight L can be provided with a banner, LED fixture
or mount point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.
STREET LIGHT XL
The Streetlight XL consists of an Energy Ball V100 and three 240 Wp solar panels, installed on a
mast with a length of 12 meters. Optionally the Streetlight XL can be provided with a banner, LED
fixture or mount point for your electric bicycle, scooter, car or boat.

14. Other Applications
Cell phone towers. The ball can be connected to the pole of the cell tower
and can be connected to a battery pack which is used for running the

15. Waste To Energy
The Waste to Energy Technology is in partnership with Eternal Vision, Japan
The high light of this technology is that it is easy to operate and can be designed to process any
type of waste. Further the most important aspect is that unlike the present technologies, this
technology can be designed to make a very small size plant for processing just 50 kgs per day and
above - up to 50 MT per day.

19. OSI Aqumo Candle
We have partnered with a Japanese company to supply- Water activated LED light (Candle) The
Candle is an LED light based on Magnesium Air Battery technology.
People in electricity deficient areas who have poor or no access to electricity, use candles or
kerosene lamps, which is not only harmful but also polluting, and highly subsidised by the
government.
Further with disasters, like earth quakes, floods occurring more often, light & communication is
one of the most important requirements for mitigation of relief of the affected people.
We would like to introduce our economical and safe LED lights for such situations.
Aqumo Candle.
Water activated LED light 'Aqumo Candle' Aqumo Candle is an
LED light based on Magnesium Air Battery technology.
It is a small and light device activated by water.
Add a small amount of water or juice (even saliva) Aqumo Candle
will immediately light up
Once activated, The Candle continues to illuminate for two week,

21. Air To Water
We have partnered with Rainmaker Worldwide, Netherlands for making
water out of air. The Rainmaker concept is a system whereby a stand-
alone wind turbine is placed in rain lacking regions. This system is
especially suited for such environments without proper infrastructure
and access to water sources.
Our Partners system, literally, makes freshwater from air!
The system’s wind turbine does not drive a generator to produce
electricity, as is commonly the case. Instead it drives a heat pump which
is directly powered by the wind turbine’s blades. With the heat pump the
water vapour in the air is condensed and collected for domestic drinking
water or irrigation purposes.
Operating principle
Depending on local ambient temperatures and humidity conditions air
always contains a certain amount of water. This makes it possible to make
water from air almost anywhere in the world. For example, air at 20 0C
and 50% RH (relative humidity) contains approximately 7 grams of water
per kilogram of air whereas air of 300C and 50% RH contains almost 14
grams of water/1 kg of air. (1 m3 of air weighs approx. 1.3 kg).

23. Water to Water
Our Partners concept is based on a modified “standard-type” windmill in which no
electricity but heat is produced, through the use of a heat pump. This heat is used in
a “flash evaporation” process. In this way different water sources such as sea water
or polluted surface water like arsenic, fluoride infected can be purified. A relatively
small windmill already has a significant capacity and can be used for drinking water,
sanitation water or irrigation.
When Local Water is Available
The water production unit is distinct from the Air to Water Solution, even though it
utilizes the same proprietary direct driven compressor system.
The Water to Water (WW) Solution is even more energy efficient than the Air to
Water Solution, utilizing a thermal process similar to Multi-Stage Flash (MSF) and
Multiple-Effect Distillation (MED), but in a unique hybrid process that utilizes a
membrane as well. The process is known as Multi Effect Membrane Distillation
(MEMD or MD).
Water that evaporated under low pressure by means of a heat pump condenses
again and returns heat to the evaporator. This system makes it possible to
desalinate large quantities of water with very little energy. Expected yield is approx.
90000 ltrs per day and mostly dependent on the size and power capacity of the
chosen location and installation.
