๏ Rock Art in the Ha'il Region (Arabic: โซุงูููููโฌโซุงูุตุฎุฑูุฉโฌโซููโฌโซู ูุทูุฉโฌโซุญุงุฆูโฌ )
is the fourth site in Saudi Arabia to be inscribed on the
UNESCO List of World Heritage Sites. The rock art includes
two components situated in the desert of the Ha'il Region:
the first is Om Sinman mountain at the city of Jubbah, and
the second is al-Manjor and Raat at Al-Shuwaymis.
Ancestors of today's Arab population left traces of their
passings in petroglyphs on the rock's surface, holding 10,000
years of history.
4. Mada'in Saleh
๏ Hegra, also known as Madaโin Salih, or Al-แธคijr is an
archaeological site located in the Sector of Al-`Ula within Al
Madinah Region in the Hejaz, Saudi Arabia. A majority of the
remains date from the Nabatean kingdom. The site
constitutes the kingdom's southernmost and largest
settlement after Petra, its capital. Traces of Lihyanite and
Roman occupation before and after the Nabatean rule,
respectively, can also be found.
5. Historic Jeddah
๏ Jeddah, also spelled Jedda, Jiddah or Jidda, is a city in the
Hejaz region of Saudi Arabia and the country's commercial
center. With a population of about four million people,
Jeddah is the largest city in Makkah Province, the second-
largest in Saudi Arabia, and the tenth-largest in the Arab
world. Jeddah Islamic Port, located on the Red Sea, is the
second-largest and second-busiest seaport in the Arab
world.
6. Al Turaif District
๏ Al-Turaif is a historic district located in Al-Dir'iyah north-
west of Riyadh which is regarded as one of the important
political and historical sites in Saudi Arabia represented the
capital of Saudi dynasty, it was the original home of the
Saudi royal family and the country's first capital, from 1744
to 1818.
7. Al Ahsa Oasis
๏ Al-Aแธฅsฤสพ, also known as al-แธคasฤสพ or Hajar, is a traditional
oasis historical region in eastern Saudi Arabia whose name is
used by the Al-Ahsa Governorate, which makes up much of
that country's Eastern Province. The oasis is located about
60 km inland from the coast of the Persian Gulf.
