MULTI-ELECTRODE MAPPING REINVENTED
Streamline data collection, annotation, and validation with
the CARTO®
3 System CONFIDENSE™ Module. Experience
all the benefits that high-performance multi-electrode
mapping has to offer—for the freedom to focus on
what matters most.
CONTINOUS MAPPING
TISSUE PROXIMITY
INDICATION (TPI)
Designed to expedite map creation based on filtered data points
Continuous Mapping is based on your predefined criteria determining the
specific points collected through preset filters:
Cycle length stability keeps data collected within a range of
predefined cycle lengths
Position stability filter ensures catheter position is
consistent with previous location
Local Activation Time (LAT) stability compares LATs between two
consecutive beats
The CONFIDENSE™ Module is fully integrated
into the CARTO®
3 System as a module upgrade
*Please consult CARTO®
3 System User Manual for further details on compatible catheters/supported catheters.
The Tissue Proximity Technology is available for the following Biosense Webster catheters: LASSO®
NAV
Catheters, LASSO®
NAV Duo Loop Catheters, and PENTARAY®
NAV Catheters. The catheter must be connected
to the 20 POLE A socket of the PIU. NOTE: Tissue Proximity Technology is not available for focal therapeutic
catheters. The nMARQ™ Interface provides TISSUECONNECT™ Indication for multi-electrode ablation catheters.
This is separate for the Tissue Proximity Indication provided with the CONFIDENSE™ Mapping Module.
Enhance accuracy of anatomical points
Tissue Proximity Indication (TPI) provides a real-time assessment of
diagnostic catheter* electrodes’ proximity to cardiac tissue based on
impedance measurements.
Acquires points that are in close proximity to cardiac tissue and
excludes all others
Designed to detect when the catheter’s electrodes are/are not
in proximity with tissue
For added specificity, TPI is calculated for each individual electrode
