SELLS FORMER BENNIGAN’S RESTAURANT

Nelson W. Pickering and Matthew Halprin of New England Retail Properties, Inc., are pleased
to announce the sale of the former Bennigan’s Restaurant at 290 Old Gate Lane in Milford,
Connecticut for $1.65 Million to 290 Old Gate Lane, LLC.
The 6,937 square foot freestanding restaurant building was built in 1985 and sits on 1.63 acres
of land across from the new Lowe’s Home Improvement off Exit 40 on Interstate 95. The
property was purchased in 1998 by National Retail Properties and operated as a Bennigan’s
until several months ago. Pickering and Halprin of New England Retail Properties, Inc.
exclusively represented the Seller, National Retail Properties of Orlando, Florida and were the
sole brokers in this transaction. The Buyer will be upgrading and converting the building into a
New Orleans concept restaurant.
