Eastern Region Regional Council Overview The focus of Eastern Regional Council is to create an enabling ecosystem for IT-BPO companies located in Kolkata and Bhubaneswar. The Regional Council helps design initiatives and supports the NASSCOM Team in actioning the same in the following areas: Policy and regulation to enable the growth of the IT- BPO industry Infrastructure improvement in Kolkata, Siliguri, Durgapur and Bhubaneswar to catalyse industry development Talent development and skill set upgradation Build emerging companies in the region
