The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has recognized the Membership Certificate awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the UK to Muhammad Ismail Bharamchari as equivalent to a M.Com degree from Pakistan. The HEC views the academic and professional requirements for ACCA Membership to be comparable to a British master's degree based on confirmation from the UK NARIC. Bharamchari's ACCA Membership is therefore equivalent to 16 years of study for a M.Com in Pakistan.
