9. Peranan DPOs/CSOs
S Partisipasi DPOs/CSOs dalam pemantauan Konvensi
CRPD adalah suatu hal yang sangat penting dan
signifikan sebagai bagian dari transparansi dan proses
demokratis.
S Aktifitas advokasi yang bisa dilakukan DPOs/CSOs:
1. Written Submission
2. Briefing meeting
3. Remote Presentation
4. Statement
5. Collaboration during visit and follow-up
6. Early warning and urgent action.

10. Written Submission
a) before or after the state party submits its
report
b) before the adoption of the list of issues
c) after the state party has submitted its
replies to the list of issues and before the
constructive dialogue
d) before the Committee adopts the list of
issues within the framework of its
simplified reporting procedure

11. Timeline Submission
Submissions should therefore be made:
S As early as possible and up to three weeks before the opening of
the session;
S Submissions will be received up to one day before the session,
however due to time restraints, these submissions are not
guaranteed to be considered by the members of the Committee;
S In the case of the adoption of list of issues within the framework
of the simplified reporting procedure, submissions need to be
received by the Secretariat up to 4 months prior to the beginning
of the session in which the list of issues will be adopted.

12. Hal lain dalam Submission
S Laporan (submisi) akan diposting secara otomatis oleh Sekretariat,
kecuali adanya permintaan rahasia.
S Maksimal laporan adalah 10,700 kata untuk alternative reports to
the State Party reports;
S Maksimal 5,350 kata untuk Submisi yang lain.

classroom and toilets, ensure teachers
attendance
Duty-bearer (2):
Provincial Director of Education
Obligations: carry out regular inspections in
public and private schools and address
individual complaints
Duty Bearer (3):
Ministry of Education
Obligations: promote inclusive education
policies, train teachers, adapt textbooks

15. Format Laporan
S Identification of the submitting organization, brief description of its
activities at international and/or national level, their mission/vision
statesman and what role persons with disabilities play in the
organisation, and level of inclusiveness and participation of persons
with disabilities in the drafting of the submission.
S Executive summary, no longer than one page
S make reference to specific articles of the Convention addressed in the
submission
S propose recommendations.

16. Panduan Lain
S The written submissions should be provided in accessible digital or
electronic formats, for example, word or text formats; hardcopies are
not necessary since the Committee has fully adopted the United
Nations greening policy.
S The submissions need to be written in one of the Committee’s
working languages. The Committee encourages the submission of
executive summaries in English. Please note that Conference services
does not translate documents submitted by organizations.
