REPORT FROM THE CUSTOMER:
WORKING EQUIPMENT SWING AND TRAVEL SYSTEMS DO NOT WORK
HOW WAS THE FAILURE NOTICED:
The machine was on production and started by not swing, and the operator tried to move the machine to a safe place. As
the machine reaches the place and immediately all the hydraulic systems shut off. The working equipment, swing and
travel were not working.
POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE:

# Malfunction of self-reducing valve
# Defective piston pump
# Defective damper
ACTION CARRIED OUT:
Checked oil levelsand started the machine to warm up oils. Operated the safety lock lever to release and
operated the PPC levers and there was no response on the hydraulic system. Disconnected the supply hose to
the PPC valve and tested, and there was no oil coming out of the hose. Disconnected the hose supplying the
solenoid block from the self-reducing valve and tested, and there was no oil coming out from the self-reducing
valve. Removed the self-reducing valve and dismantle it. Find the spool stuck. Cleaned the valve block and parts
with clean diesel. Assembled the valve together, installed it back on the machine, and tested. All the working
equipment swing and travel were ok. Carried out cylinder bypass and found the arm cylinder passing. Removed
the cylinder. Electrical circuit was tested and everything wasfunction well.
