My husband and I founded this all-volunteer nonprofit in 2005 because we found that some of our neighbors in our senior affordable housing complex were not getting enough to yet. We now serve approximately 1500 seniors and others throughout our county, bringing them good food from Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. As a result, many of these recipients have moved out of their poverty into feeling more abundant and "wealthy" because of the surplus in their lives.
