Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC, is the founding member of Mission Health System Inc., the state’s sixth largest health system. Our medical staff has over 750 physicians representing most specialties and subspecialties. We perform over 44,000 surgical cases a year, and have over 6,000 employees. The hospital serves as a training site for residency programs offered by the Mountain Area Health Education Center. Our mission is to improve the health of the people of Western North Carolina and the surrounding region.
