This document outlines the requirements for Boy Scouts to earn their Membership Badge and become a Senior Scout. It includes demonstrating and explaining the meaning of the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan and Code. Boys must also demonstrate the Scout sign, salute and handshake and explain the symbolism of the Scout and Senior Scout emblems. Further requirements include paying a membership fee, explaining their interest in becoming a Senior Scout to their leaders, and committing to the Oath, Law and Code at an investiture ceremony.
