Education

I graduated from the Institute of Public Administration with a BA in Public Management in 1998 and awarded an MSc in Education & Training management (eLearning) from Dublin City University in 2013. I spent 15 years (1984-'99) working as a Garda (Police Officer) in Dublin's inner centre where I received first hand knowledge of the social and economic hardship experienced in marginalised communities. I set up my own business in 1999 and I have gained extensive experience in managing and operating small enterprises in New York, San Francisco and Ireland.
