IT’S one of the world’s big-
gest questions – who am I?
And soon, Brisbane might
have an answer.
Annerley’s Maya Peres
Bhatt is participating in a
Museum of Brisbane pro-
ject, which aims to illustrate
the people who make up our
city’s 2.3 million inhabitants
with 100 “average” resi-
dents.
100% Brisbane will follow
the lives of 100 residents for
three years, collecting data
and opinions from its partic-
ipants.
Each person represents
1 per cent of Brisbane’s
population demographic, ac-
cording to Australian Bu-
reau of Statistics data.
Ms Bhatt was selected
after fitting the criteria of an
Asia-born female aged be-
tween 18 and 24 living in
Brisbane’s south in a single
household.
the people who live here and
to make it a better place by
understanding their views,
their beliefs, their atti-
tudes,” Ms Bhatt said.
“I may be from another
country but still I am a part
of Brisbane and I give my
100 per cent to this place
and call it home.”
The project’s exhibition
will open on July 15 at the
Museum of Brisbane.
