1. EXT. KAROO - DAY
A dirty face lays in the gravel. A Man that looks
exhausted. He squints in the hot sun. Sweat rolls off his
forehead.
He lifts an empty water bottle to his lips - nothing.
It seems he’s been stranded for hours.
He cries out in desperation
MAN
Hello! Anyone out there? I can’t
take this anymore.
Camera pulls back wide. We see that the man is, in
reality, laying just a few feet from his car (out of fuel)
on a dusty road. The situation is not nearly as dire as we
first thought. The Man is just over-dramatising his
situation.
MAN (CONT)
I’m not going to make
it...(ad-lib extra random
dialogue)
A little off in the distance two primitive KhoiSan watch
him with bemusement. They have been there all along. The
taller one leans over to his friend and says (In Xhosa or
Zulu with English subtitles)
TRIBESMAN #1
You were right. Five minutes is
all it took.
TRIBESMAN #2
I guess it’s time to help him.
The villager pulls out a Liquid Blast from a bag he had
hanging from his shoulder. With the Man still yelling
pointlessly he walks over to the car. Extends a polite
greeting.
The Man sees the Liquid Blast and thinks it’s intended for
him. In that moment he is overcome with pure joy only to
lose it immediately when he sees the Bushman pouring the
drink into the car’s fuel tank.

PRODUCT SPLASH SCREEN
Product is displayed with accompanying text. A call to
action is made. (A voice-over can also be used to deliver
a witty one-liner).
CUT TO:
INT. CAR -DAY
The Man is back in his car and has started it. A second
vehicle pulls up next to his. Through the open window he
sees an attractive woman in the other vehicle. She is
drinking a cool bottle of water. She stretches out to talk
through the window.
WOMAN
Nice ride.
Noticing how dehydrated the Man is she beckons to her
water bottle - as if to offer it to him.
WOMAN (CONT)
Hey would you like a drink?
MAN
Oh yes!
WOMAN
Great! There’s a café back in
town.
She drives off smiling. The Man watches in utter
disbelief.
END.
